Wedding Weekend

This past weekend I headed down to Indiana for a wedding of a friend. Leanne and I have known each other since we were in the church nursery together. We grew up playing piano/oboe duets together at church, teasing our younger brothers, and going through some amazing permed hairstyles. Oh, the memories. I almost posted an old picture of us, but decided against it. We lost touch for a few years, but thankfully, have been able to reconnect and still have a bond. I was glad to be able to be there for her big day.

I headed down on Thursday right after work, so I had a chance to connect with several of my other girlfriends on Friday. Being back in the little town where I grew up just has soooo many memories for me. Here are 2 beautiful things that I love about a small town:
- When you decide to meet your friend at a restaurant....there is really only 1 option that comes to mind.
- When you agree upon that one restaurant, you happen to run into your middle school principal.....who happens to pick up the tab for your meal without you knowing it!

Sounds, you had a wonderful time! I can totally relate to a small town. I just loved living in my little schoolhouse in Bailey, Michigan for all of the same reasons.
