First, let me help you envision what the old bathroom looked like. It had brown/orange carpet in it. There was a bathtub that was placed directly in front of the window, no shower at all (well, because you can't shower in front of a window!). Wood paneling was halfway up the walls. The tan flowered wallpaper on the rest of the wall was peeling off. And we found a mushroom growing behind the toilet once. Ewwww.
So, Adam completely gutted it just a short while before Landon was born and has done an excellent job making it new! Since the old bathroom was so dark and dingy feeling, I wanted this one to be bright, cheery, and very light. I think we've accomplished that. We've obviously fit a full shower in it now (which we were able to do by knocking out most of a closet). Adam tiled the shower and flooring. He built the storage bench in front of the window. Overall, it's quite a lovely bathroom. Nice and spacious. And as always, we invite you to come and see it for yourself as the pictures don't do it justice! But you'll want to do that soon! As we hope to be putting our house on the market in the somewhat near future. (We know, we know, it's not the best time to sell....but we really feel that we should pursue this as we desire to live closer to our church.)
