Unsolved Mysteries, Case Number 3987479302

This file is fresh off the field.

At approximately 12:30pm on Sunday, June 25th, the Willis' arrived home to find the Willis eggs (soon to be the Willis birds) missing. The eggs were last seen on Thursday afternoon at 4:30pm. The scene appeared normal and hospitable for the eggs.

The 5 Willis eggs, which were located in the hanging basket of white impatiens on the Willis' porch, disappeared without a trace.

There were no signs of foul play or forced entry into the nest. No broken shells were found within a 10 feet radius around the nesting area. There was no evidence left behind that the untrained eye could detect. All seemed tranquil and normal...except for the absence of the 5 innocent eggs.

The disapperance served as quite a shock for the Willis family. "I just don't know what could have happened to them. I don't know of anybody that would have wanted to harm them." said a tearful and distraught Mrs.Willis. Mr. Willis was a bit more on edge about the situation. "If I find out who did this, I'll get them." said Mr.Willis with a crazed look in his eyes and a shotgun in hand.

A prayer vigil was held that afternoon on the wicker furniture. If you know anything about this heinous crime, please leave a message on this blog.

Together we can solve this Unsolved Mystery.

Way too much time on your hands!

Maybe someone realized that eggs were ONLY a breakfast food and thus took them in haste and cooked them...knowing that breakfast time had nearly ended and there was not enough time to go to the grocery store.

My granpa said that frequently birds will steal other birds' eggs. Either to put them in their own nest or to destroy them. Hmmm...all of these clues are helpful....but I'm afriad this will remain an Unsolved Mystery for all eternity.
